It’s my sister’s fault

…that I’ve been drinking these every day and have therefore been too busy to post the cocktail recipe.

Here it goes, to the best of my memory:

one part coconut rum (like Cruzan, NOT like Malibu)

one part Chambord (trust me)

three or four (?) parts pineapple juice

shake and serve up in a sugar-rimmed glass

(Although it should be noted that I am, at this very moment, drinking this on the rocks, no sugar, for efficiency of process.)

I have no idea what this drink is called, but really, get yourself to the nearest liquor store and have at it. While even I find purchasing Chambord somewhat embarassing (what is UP with that packaging, mes amis ?) it is totally worth the ridicule at the checkstand. You could even say that you’re just buying it as a gift for your grandmother or something. Or that you use it on pancakes. Say whatever you have to, because it’s almost summer and you NEED this drink just as much as you need that pedicure.

Cheers,

La Maman Atomique
