Why in the hell is it so hard to find a good pair of slippers anymore? What’s going on? My shopping skills are HONED, people. And I still can’t find any slippers worth wearing. Well, okay, the ones made by the guy at Pike Place Market are really, really good but is that IT? A girl gets tired of the same damn slippers year after year!
As I write this I am wearing brand-new purple fluffy cheap piece-of-crap slippers that I bought at Target today out of total desperation. And maybe they are a little bit cute in that curlers-in-my-hair-while-chewing-nicotine-gum kind of way, but they’re not a long term solution and we all know it.
Weigh in if you have some slippers that you’re happy with. I’m sure I’ll be needing another pair in a week or two.

Okay, I know you are totally busy what with your mad search for decent slippers and all and I read ahead and know you were traveling and I did hear you when you said you were busy getting yourself a good boss but MY GOD how can Lina be 14 months old already? And if you don’t call us to get together soon, I’m just gonna show up on your doorstep one of these afternoons…though if I wait a few weeks I just may be able to text Lina myself for a playdate and side-step you and Shane altogether!
By the way…someone told me Homing Instinct on Ballard Ave had some lovely, cozy slippers.
