Potato harvest!
We harvested our first potatoes last weekend, and cooked up a big potato/tofu/egg scramble. Delicious!

Despite the wintry new banner here at atomicpug.net, it is most definitely Spring at the Atomic Ranch. Dogs are frolicking, birds are singing, and little girls are picking flowers, as is their wont.
First bounty from our burgeoning garden!
My how time flies and how fast little girls grow. It’s already the lunar new year and it’s been a while since I’ve updated the home page here. I’ve now posted some new snaps on Lina’s page yesterday and I’ve got some more coming. And Stephanie’s been keeping her page current, of course.
There’s a short story here, which I’ll tell soon on Lina’s page…
Happy Holidays to all. Here are some pictures from this holiday season. You can also find more on Lina’s page. This is her second Christmas (her first where opening presents is fun).
Home has been a nice place to be this holiday season.
Lina looking badass in Papa’s new Fluevogs.
The atomic and subatomic pugs have entertained us a lot. Here they are playing tug o’ war with the headless flamingo toy that Auntie Kerry brought us (the head having been removed by cousin Cinnamon when Lily and Stephanie were in Oakland last September). Lily loved this toy, but we had to “vamoose” it when its fluffy stuffing soon came out.
The holidays are an exciting time!
Lina loves this octopus chair (which Omi named Octavia)
Cooper and Lily aren’t supposed to be on Lina’s chair, but it’s soooo inviting.
Lily and Cooper loved this bone-shaped reindeer toy (where do they get the ideas for these things?) until its stuffing also came out.
Lily also likes the classic (and more durable) dead bird toy.
Mama and Papa on Stephanie’s birthday
We looked in our stockings before heading to Grandma and Grandpa’s for Christmas. Lina loved pulling stuff out, including a hat and a toy cellphone. She knew just what to do with each.
Lily remains master of her domain (that’s a vanquished canada goose at her feet)
Yes, it’s true; our family has expanded again. Yesterday Stephanie picked up Lily D’s new little sister Cooper. She’s about nine weeks old (her birthday is October 5th, just three days after Lily’s). Neither Lily nor Lina were particularly excited to meet the new addition. They’ve both warmed up to her a little bit today (or at least they’ve begun to accept the fact that they’ll have to share a little bit more parental attention than they are used to).
Little (very little) cutie.
Cooper’s “business” end (she’s already learning to do “busy busy” on command)
