Little scientist
Back on January 2nd when these pictures were taken, Lina was 22 months old. As far I know this is her first science experiment that required an apparatus and didn’t involve trying to manipulate Mama, Papa, or any other nearby humans. Stephanie caught the sequence that follows (I was at work). It started with this black bin that we had been using to collect recyclables in the kitchen, but which got replaced by a larger, more practical bin. Lina had seen us carry this thing by its metal handle plenty of times, so it wasn’t surprising to see her carrying it around. It’s when she set it down that things got interesting…
Packed in and ready to go. What’s next?
Naturally, just pick up the handle and off we go…
…or maybe not. It wasn’t until then that Stephanie realized that Lina was upset because she couldn’t pick herself up!
So much for that hypothesis.
Ah, well, off to the next experiment.
