Itinerary

We got our official travel dates and purchased our tickets for our trip to China. CHI is coordinating the in-country travel (it’s cheaper to purchase in-country tickets in China). Here’s our schedule:
- Mon Nov 7 flight UA597 from Seattle to San Francisco 8:15am - 10:20am
- Mon Nov 7 flight UA889 from San Francisco to Beijing 1:25pm - 5:55pm (arrive Nov 8.) - Radisson SAS
- Sat Nov 12 meet CHI group for orientation and sightseeing
- Sun Nov 13 fly to Nanchang (Jiangxi province) - Gloria Hotel; MEET LINA!
- Mon Nov 14 do adoption paperwork (notary and registration)
- sightseeing in Jiangxi–hopefully including trip to Tonggu to see Lina’s birth town–while we wait for paperwork
- Fri Nov 18 fly to Guangzhou in the evening - Guangdong Int’l Hotel
- Sat Nov 19 medical exams for children (for US visa) - move to White Swan)
- Mon Nov 21 US Consulate ACS appointment.
- Tue Nov 22 get Lina’s visa in the evening (about 6:00pm).
- Wed Nov 23 flight CZ3803 (11:00) to Hangzhou (arr. 12:40) where we’ll stay with Art & Ellen at ZheDa (Zhejiang University)
- Mon Nov 28 flight CA1705 (13:10) to Beijing (arr. 15:00 — should have left from Shanghai, but booked before we knew that)
- Tue Nov 29 flight UA888 from Beijing to San Francisco 1:55pm - 8:55 am (same day! retrograde motion!)
- Tue Nov 29 flight UA322 from San Francisco to Seattle 11:10am - 1:17pm (home finally!)
