Lily, Georgia, and Talullah

Lo-Size Lily

Hi. Check it out, I have my own store now! the atomicpug store. You can buy cool stuff there, like real US postage stamps with my picture on them.

This is really my page. The cats don't have a page so Mom and Dad are making me share. Like I don't share enough with them already. They sleep in my beds all the time (when they're not being naughty and sleeping on Mom & Pops' bed). They play with my toys. And boy does Georgia get jealous when I'm on Pop's lap while he's working on the computer. Like right now.

I don't really mind though. Sometimes they hiss when I try to play with them. I just wish the cats would be a bit nicer. They do let me lick out their bowls after breakfast and dinner, which is pretty cool.

I guess if they were nicer maybe they'd get to have their own store, like mine. Or maybe they'd be on Catster or something. But they're not.

Here are my favorite links:

Lo-Size Lily, AKA Miss Lily D

Lily joined our family in December of 2003 (she was born October 2nd). Her full name is Lo-Size Lily D, and she's an unusual (non-AKC) breed of pug. She is an American Lo-Sze Pugg (TM) Dog, and she came to us from Venus. That's right: Venus, Texas.
Lily posing with a bone
Lily loves to chew her bones. She was happy to settle down with a bone and vogue for the camera here.
Pugs like to be warm
Pugs like to be warm (they also hate to have their nails cut, but that's a different story). Here's Lily getting cozy belowdecks on Manzanita Moon. Lily enjoys sailing, as long as she's warm.
A punkin in the sun
Speaking of being warm, Lily loves to lie in the sun. Here's she's pretending she's a pumpkin (which, of course, she is).
A good dog
Lily's a good dog, but she's especially good around the holidays.

Georgia the Curious Cat

Georgia and Talullah are birth-sisters, but they're very different. Georgia is curious, active, and lithe. Talullah is not. Georgia and Talullah joined our family in 1999, so they had a head start on Lily and they still rule the roost. They came to us from PAWS, a great animal welfare organization here in Seattle, and we promised to keep them indoor cats. Talullah couldn't care less about the outdoors, but Georgia often sits on the window sill "pining for the fjords." Of course, the one time she did get out she was scared out of her wits and hid under a low tree until Shane rescued her.
Georgia looking tough
Georgia tries to look tough, and she talks a good game, but really she's a, well, a pussycat. She loves nothing better than to curl up in Shane's lap while he's at the computer.
Ack. Feathers.
No birds were harmed in the production of this picture. The only tastes of feathers Georgia has had have been off a toy from Petco.

Talullah "the Hut"

Talullah (AKA Lula) is the "most efficient" member of our family. Almost every gram of food she eats goes to maintenance of her impressive girth. The only times she moves fast is dinner time or when the vacuum is turned on.
Talullah I'm big-boned
Lula tries to convince us that she's just "big-boned" and really needs that extra scoop of food. But until recently we kept the cat food in a green can in the kitchen, and that green can was her favorite member of the family--she rubbed against it more than she ever did against us.
Where's Lula?
Lula is also a versatile impersonator of other animals. Sometimes she looks like an orca, sometimes a seal, sometimes a tapir. See if you can find Talullah in the picture above (as with the other pictures you can click it to see a larger image).
