About atomicpug.net

Lo-Size Lily, the atomic pug

Lo-Size Lily D

Lily puts the "pug" in "atomicpug".

Why "atomicpug.net"?

Well, if you've checked out the rest of the site, you've probably figured it out by now (hint: See "Lily & Co" and "Ranch").

About this site

This site is authored as XHTML according to the strict rules, though the lousy HTML editor I'm using doesn't validate so some mistakes may slip in now and then--you can click on the XHTML link at the bottom of the page to catch me. All formatting and layout is applied via CSS styles (e.g., no fonts or background graphics are specified in the HTML files). This will let me change the style from time to time without messing with the content.

If I have time soon, I'll be converting to pure XML authoring with an XSLT transform generating pure XHTML & CSS. That'll totally rule cuz it'll be impossible to mess up and leave closing tags off, etc.

The original design for this site was derived from a design called Softened Cells by Pat Heard of http://fullahead.org. In fact, at the time I'm writing this it still looks quite a bit like that design even though I've changed a bunch of the underlying CSS (especially for navigation). I found that design on http://oswd.org, where you can find lots of great designs. Thanks to Cheri Lockett Zubak for pointing me in the right direction.

The site is hosted by JTF Hosting, with whom I am very pleased.
